3 Days Murchison Falls Safari Overview

This 3 Days Murchison Falls Wildlife Safari includes an overview of all the main things to do in this enchanted Uganda safari park. You must add a fourth day to the trip total if you wish to go chimpanzee trekking. The three categories of safari lodging are budget, midrange, and luxury.

Day 1: Kampala to Murchison falls

You will be picked up by the guide and transported to Murchison Falls National Park from a predetermined place in Kampala, Entebbe, or the airport. You have the opportunity to stop by Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary along the way, which is the only place in Uganda where you can observe rhinos.

After lunch, travel to Masindi and then in the afternoon, arrive at Murchison Falls National Park. You’ll go to the top of the falls after entering the park through the Kichumbanyobo gate, then you’ll head to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Fort Murchison Lodge or Paraa Safari Lodge for luxury.

Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise

A game drive will be taken after breakfast in the hopes of spotting some of the big five, including lions, buffaloes, and elephants. Together with antelopes, impalas, and other small game as well as primates like baboons, giraffes are frequently seen.

After lunch, take a launch cruise to the park’s distinctive Murchison Falls, where you can get up close and personal with hippos and a variety of enormous crocodiles. There are opportunities to see birds while on the launch voyage. Same as above, dinner and overnight at the inn.

Day 3: Kampala

After eating breakfast, you will go via Masindi town returning to Kampala. Drop off at your accommodation at the Entebbe or Kampala airport in preparation for your next trip. The Murchison Falls national park is always worthwhile and very gratifying. The facilities, wildlife, and environment are all amazing!
