3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Safari :This Primates safari takes visitors to western Uganda to do chimpanzee trekking and go on a nature walk that takes them to the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru caves.
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Kibale forest
Your driver/guide from Kibale Tours will pick you up from a point in Kampala and take you to the Kibale forest National park. Including a lunch break en route, this drive takes five hours. Arrive in Fort Portal in the early afternoon, then head to your lodging to unwind.
Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and afternoon nature walk
On day 2 of 3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Safari , eat breakfast very early, then travel to the park headquarters for a briefing on the critically endangered chimps. Later, with the assistance of a park ranger and your tracking equipment, packed water, and snacks, enter the forest. Chimpanzee tracking takes between two and five hours to complete. You will spend an hour watching the primates after discovering them, observing their behavior, and taking pictures. Return to the lodge for lunch and a break after tracking.
After lunch, arrange to go on a nature walk in Bigodi Wetland where you may enjoy passing through a wetland filled with different bird species. Return to the lodge later in the evening to unwind, eat, and spend the night
Day 3: Transfer to Entebbe and departure
After an early breakfast on the final day of the 3 Days Kibale Chimpanzee Trekking Safari , you’ll head to the Amabere Ga Nya mwiru Caves, where you may explore the caverns’ intriguing past as well as the waterfalls and Crater Lake.
